【第二次高市内閣発足！】〜オッペケペー、政治の中身は変わるのか？？？ 【The Second Takaichi Cabinet Takes Office!】 Oppekepe—Will Anything Really Change in Politics?
昨日・９月１７日、第二次高市改造内閣が発表された。そんな折り、明治の政治風刺歌「オッペケペー節」の動画が完成！ 「権利幸福きらいな人に、自由湯（とう）をば飲ましたい」ーー 「自由」を薬のように飲ませてしまおう、という痛快な一節である。 さらに、 「うわべの飾りはよいけれど、政治の思想が欠乏だ。」ーー 文明開化で服装や言葉は新しくなっても、中身はどうなのか。その皮肉は、百三十年以上たった今にも妙に響く。政治の顔ぶれが変わり、新しい言葉が並ぶたびに、私たちはまた問う。 さて、中身はどうなのだろう。 今回は、この明治の風刺歌を現代のエレクトロ・ビートに乗せて朗誦した。作詞は、福岡・博多出身の俳優・興行師、川上音二郎（1864–1911）。 エレクトロ朗誦「オッペケペー節」 On September 17, the Second Takaichi Reshuffled Cabinet was announced. And, as it happened, I had just completed a video of the Meiji-era political satire song Oppekepe-bushi . “For those who hate rights and happiness, I’d make them drink a dose of Freedom Tonic.” A wonderfully biting line: give them “freedom” as though it were medicine. And then: “Your outward fashion may be splendid, but your political thought is sadly lacking.” Clothes and language may change with the times, but what about what lies underneath?
