【桜の開花に寄せて】サイタ　サイタ　サクラ　ガ　サイタ『小學國語讀本』

　昨日3月16日（月）、全国のトップを切って、岐阜と高知でソメイヨシノが開花したそうだ。

　気象予報士の嬉々とした声に、季節が徐々に早まっていく危惧はうかがえない。

　サイタ　サイタ　サクラ　ガ　サイタ。。。

　戦前の国語の教科書を読んでみた。

　Yesterday, Monday, March 16, it was reported that the Somei-yoshino cherry blossoms began blooming in Gifu and Kochi Prefectures, the first in the nation this year.

　Listening to the cheerful voice of the weather forecaster, one hears no hint of concern that the seasons themselves seem to be arriving earlier and earlier.

　Bloomed, bloomed—the cherry blossoms have bloomed…

　I tried reading a Japanese language textbook from before the war.
